王进，男，博士，研究员，硕士生导师。2012年毕业于中国林业科学研究院，获博士学位。2013年作为访问学者，赴美国南方大学开展植物化学领域研究，到美国Conagen公司实验室参与天然产物生物合成研究。

2004年以来致力于植物化学方向的研究，主要从事新型植物次生代谢物的活性筛选及其绿色制备技术研究，应用于植物源农药、天然源日化产品等领域。先后主持/参与国家级、省部级科研课题10余项，包括国家科技支撑课题、国家重点研发计划课题、国家林业局948项目等。在国内外核心刊物发表学术论文70余篇(其中SCI收录30篇)，参编专著2部。获国家发明专利10件，获认定/鉴定科技成果13项，获认证新产品2项。获梁希林业科学技术二等奖2项、三等奖2项，获梁希青年论文三等奖1项、梁希科普奖1项。
