刘世荣,中国林业科学研究院院长,森林生态学领域首席专家、研究员,博士生导师,国家级跨世纪学术技术带头人,国家杰出青年基金获得者。现任国际林业研究联盟组织(IUFRO)副主席和国际生态学会(INTECOL)执委,国际科联工作协调委员会(ICSU-CHINA)委员,中国林学会副理事长、森林生态分会主任委员,生态学报、应用生态学报、北京林业大学学报、南京林业大学学报和湿地科学与管理杂志的副主编,植物生态学报、自然资源学报编委,《Forest Ecology and Management》、《Ecohydrology》和《Forestry》国际期刊的编委。目前主要从事森林生态学领域研究,包括生态系统碳氮循环、土壤碳固持机制与增汇技术、生态水文学和全球变化对森林影响与适应等方面的研究。曾取得过国家科技进步二等奖三项,省部级科技进步三等奖三项,获第四届中国林业青年科技奖,主编或参编的学术专著有10部,在国内外发表学术论文300余篇,其中SCI收录论文100多篇。目前正在主持国家十三五重点研发专项“典型脆弱生态修复与保护研究”的项目“两屏三带”生态系统服务格局优化,(2018YFC0507300)。
