江泽慧

江泽慧,国际木材科学院院士,首席科学家,教授,博士生导师。1960年安徽农业大学林学系林学专业毕业,获学士学位。1960年赴中国林业科学研究院木材工业研究所材性研究室进修。曾任安徽农业大学党委书记兼校长。1993年2月当选安徽省人大常委会副主任。1996年1月调入原国家林业部。担任原林业部党组成员兼中国林业科学研究院院长、分党组书记。曾任第九至十二届全国政协人口资源环境委员会副主任,第四、第五届国务院学位委员会委员,第五、第六届中国科协常委,中国林学会理事长,中国生态文化协会会长,中国竹产业协会会长,中国木材学会常务副理事长。

国内外知名的木材学家、林学家,长期从事森林利用学、中国林业工程、木材科学与技术等学科领域的教学、科研和科技管理工作,先后主持和参加国家攀登计划项目、国家科技支撑计划项目、国家自然基金重点项目和国际热带木材组织(ITTO)项目、全球环境基金(GEF)项目和商品共同基金(CFC)项目等。研究成果获国家科技进步一等奖1项,二等奖3项,省部级奖8项。出版专著《世界主要树种木材科学特性》(中英文版)、《世界竹藤》(中英文版)、《绿竹神气》(中英文版)、《中国林业工程》、《中国现代林业》、《东南亚木材识别及用途》、《生态文明时代的主流文化——中国生态文化体系研究总论》等50余部,在国内外刊物发表学术论文500余篇。先后培养林业工程学科研究生、博士后100余人。
